| Good evening Readers...
I know it has been days upon days since I last updated my page. I decided tonight I would like to. A lot has happened up to this date. I'll try to sum up as much as I can on what has been going on with me.
Did you know.... Accounting is the language of business? NOW YOU KNOW.
Sorry, that's the best I could think of at this point. My last accounting teacher kept saying that as his closing line before class was over everytime. I'll think of better ones next time I post.
Each day (hopefully), I'll post some of the significant happenings that has happened so far this year. Today, my one week stay in the Philippines in February.
I went to visit the Philippines because we found out at the beginning of the year my grandfather's sickness was serious with cancer. The trip went well, most of the time, we stayed in his bedroom keeping him company, attending to his needs. Other times, I'd catch up with cousins despite the little time I had there. I only stayed a week b/c I still had school. It has crossed my mind, had I not registered for classes this Spring, I would've stayed longer in the Philippines to be with my Lolo. I know he wanted me to stay, but he understood I had my studies. Unfortunately I wasn't there when he passed and it hurt. He basically took care of me from when I was so little until 1st grade. He passed in the beginning of March before his 82nd birthday. I made sure before I left that I would take one last picture with him. He has left me his legacy as a Lions member. Yes, I'm part of the Lion's Club, but in Indang, Cavite. He also left me his wisedom, his commitment for caring for others through public office, through community. I will take all of these as I countinue to be a brother, a son, a student. I hope soon, I can help and do my part for the Lions Club in the Philippines. I will strive to be best student for him, because I know he would never settle anything but Excellence in my school. I will strive my best to serve others like he did, through CFC Youth, helping the younger brothers and sisters in any way I can. I know he's always there with me every step of the way and I know will be for the rest of my life. Thank you Lolo Leon ...

| Camp A-Paul-O ... 13!!
"One small step to God, one giant leap for all humanity."
Praise and thank you God for this wonderful past weekend. The very first Youth Camp of the year for CFC Youth Houston and what do you get? An Ignition, an explosion, a liftoff!
This weekend was very special to me and I know to almost everyone who was involved with this camp. After weeks of preparation doing camp trainings, practices for creatives, the hard work, everything paid off. Despite my busyness with school, work, I made the decision to lead this camp and it was the greatest decision to make. As much as possible, I wanted this camp to stand out, be fun, memorable and most of all be spirit-filled. Every goal was met thru this weekend, in fact we exceeded every single goal.
Thank You to everyone who helped make this camp a success and a Victorious one for God, both directly and indirectly.
But most of all, my thanks goes out to the participants. You truly inspired everyone on the service team and myself. What a very special group. There is so much to say, yet words cannot express about these brothers and sisters. Please continue this journey with God and don't ever make it stop.
In the end, serving these people was the most rewarding and one of the greatest feelings you can ever get. I can say this camp ranks among the top ones I have ever served in, and I have a feeling this camp will be talked about for days, months and years from now.
Adios,
 Charles

| RIP Pat Morita aka Mr. Miyagi
When I found out earlier that he passed away, I was sad because I
enjoyed his movies in the Karate Kid Series of movies. He was a true
inspiration through what he said and among the few quotes I personally
liked.
"Ambition without knowledge is like boat on dry land."
and gosh, who can forget....
"Wax on.....wax off."
Adios,

Charles
